4. Counter-Notification

  • Consent to jurisdiction in your district
  • Your signature (physical or electronic)

5. Our Response Process

When We Receive a Valid Notice:

  1. Investigate the claim
  2. Remove or disable the infringing content
  3. Notify the uploader (if applicable)
  4. Keep a record of the takedown

Timeline:

  • Acknowledgment: within 24 hours
  • Investigation: within 48 hours
  • Action: within 72 hours

6. Repeat Infringers

Users who receive multiple valid DMCA notices may have their accounts suspended or terminated.

7. False or Misleading Claims

Submitting a false DMCA notice is a violation of law and may result in penalties, including damages and attorney’s fees. Only file a notice if you truly own the rights.

8. Safe Harbor
